Why bother with Solar Panel Cleaning?
Dust and pollution from vehicles, sticky tree and plant sap, lichen, soot and Seagull and bird droppings, especially here on the south coast are just a few of the things that can contribute to a build-up of dirt on your solar panels.
The build-up of these over time creates cell shading that could be permanent and will prevent sunlight from reaching the cells. This inevitably ends up in poor system performance, loss of efficiency, loss of output and a loss of return for the owner. After a Solar Panel clean, the results are immediate as your panels will begin producing more power right away.
Some solar panel companies have made solar panel cleaning a condition of their warranty. Should you have problems with your solar panels, if you do not have proof of regular solar panel cleaning by professionals, your solar panels may not be covered by the warranty. So cleaning as part of your warranty is something that should be considered.
